men are from mars and women, don't understand a great compliment.

So, when I decided to compliment my wifes nice legs, apparently I cannot compliment them by saying that I very much like her 'robust legage'. apart from making up the word 'legage', Since when was this no longer a great compliment, which I thought was very nice in almost every way. according to my wife, it's not brilliant. I believe it's quite flattering. Your opinions, please?

Oh - you are just trying to provoke a reaction... It's a bit like the wifey saying, "I love how cuddly and squidgy you are" then wibbling her head in your soft underbelly and making farting noises. Then falling about laughing...
